WELLS CATHEDRAL BE A CHORISTER FOR A DAY event Sat 17th Sept 2022

Dear All

At Wells Cathedral each autumn we hold a fabulous free event called Be a Chorister for a Day, where children can experience what it is like to be a Cathedral Chorister. The day is open to children aged between 7 and 9, there are fun singing workshops, and the day ends with them taking part in the Evensong service alongside the Cathedral Choir. Children taking part do not need to be trained singers, they just need to enjoy singing and want to take part in the day!

This year’s event will take place on Saturday 17 September 2022, from 11.00am-5.00pm (lunch included).

Here is a link to further information on our website, including a wonderful short video of our Choristers explaining how they feel about Chorister life in their own words – https://www.wellscathedral.org.uk/worship-and-music/music/wells-cathedral-choir/the-choristers/

If you are able to share the poster, and possibly the web-link, we would very much appreciate it. If anyone would like further information or to register for a place, I can be contacted via musicoffice@wellscathedral.org.uk.
